Our services include viewing and visitation services, funeral services, and graveside services, all of which can be personalized based on your loved one’s wishes and your family’s needs. A visitation or viewing allows guests to pay their respects in an environment that is typically less formal than a funeral. You can personalize the visitation or viewing with floral arrangements, photo or video displays, and more. The funeral can be held at our funeral home or at a nearby venue, such as a religious venue or other special location in Grove City or Columbus. You can personalize the funeral ceremony with stories, scripture, music, and other elements that are meaningful to your family. Our team also performs graveside services at the departed’s final resting place, such as a burial site or mausoleum. Graveside services can be performed by themselves or in addition to funeral services.
Cremation Services
Our cremation services include the option for a funeral or other memorial ceremony. Alternatively, we can perform direct cremations, which don’t include an additional ceremony. Cremains can be scattered in a location of special significance, buried in a cemetery, saved at a columbarium, or placed in an urn that can be displayed at home.
Options for Veterans
At Graumlich Funeral Home, we recognize the selfless commitment of those who have bravely served our country. The United States Department of Veterans Affairs offers burial benefits for deceased veterans, and our directors can assist you in obtaining the forms required to receive these benefits. If specific requirements are met, veterans as well as their spouse and dependents may qualify to be buried in a VA national cemetery. Veterans may also qualify for military funeral honors, including the playing of “Taps,” if certain requirements are met. Our knowledgeable team can guide you to the information and resources available for honoring veterans.
