Joyce Oakley

Joyce K. Oakley, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on June 17, 2022. She was an active member of Grace Brethren Church in Reynoldsburg. During her childhood she grew up in the Hungarian United Methodist Church and graduated from Columbus South High School in 1960. Joyce enjoyed going out to lunch with her friends, playing euchre and was a master gardener. Preceded in death by husband, George Oakley; brother, Lou Komives and her parents, John and Rose Komives.  Survived by sons, Keith (Danielle) Oakley and Kip (Teresa) Oakley; grandchildren Kayla, Gunner and Katelyn Oakley; brother, John (LuAnn) Komives; niece, Maurin Shafer; nephew, Josh Komives and sister-in-law, Jan Komives.

Family will receive friends Wednesday June 22, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 South High St., Columbus, OH., where service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday June 23, 2022 with Pastor John Harmony officiating.  Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
