Verlin "Edgar" Davis, age 80, of Columbus, passed away March 31, 2018. Retired from Kroger after over 40 years of service. Preceded in death by wife, Barbara; daughters, Roberta Steed and Kathy Smith; son-in-law, Joseph Smith; father, Chester; mother, Lois; sisters, Alice Skinner-Poulin and Shirley Fosnaugh; brothers-in-law, Pat Barry, David Schaedel, Donald Fosnaugh, and Rick Woods. Survived by grandchildren, Misty Nahay, Stephanie Steed, and Jesse Smith; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; siblings, Dennis (Sue) Davis, Linda Davis-Woods, and Lori Arnett; sisters-in-law, Betty McCoy and Paula Schaedel; best friend, Bob Herrick; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
