Thomas Barr

Thomas Paul Barr, age 71, passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness on October 7, 2017.  He was born on January 25, 1946 in German Village, Ohio to Paul William and Elsie Elizabeth Barr.

He is preceded in death by his parents and eldest brother, David Barr.

He is survived by his daughter Regina King, his grandson Alexander King, his brother Michael (Toni) Barr, his sister Connie (Don) Schaefer, numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends in Ohio and Florida.

Tom was a devout catholic and devoted countless volunteer hours to his church in Okeechobee, Florida.  Tom was also an avid fisherman and spent the happiest times of his life on the banks of Buckeye Lake, the Muskingum River, and Lake Okeechobee.

Per his wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at his home parish, St. Theresa of Child Jesus at 1027 Chobee Loop Okeechobee, Florida on Monday, October 23rd 2017 at 10:00am.  The family wishes to thank the nurses, social workers and aids at Pickering House hospice for their kindness and compassion.  Arrangements made by Graumlich Funeral Home.  www.graumlichfuneralhome.com
