Shirley Ann Branscome, age 82, of Canal Winchester passed away on November 24, 2023. Shirley (Cornes) was born in Huntington, WV. and was a graduate of Huntington East High School. She retired from JC Penney Distribution Center after many years of dedicated employment. Shirley loved taking family photos, crafting, photo scrapbooking, decorating for holidays, fishing, family pool parties, working puzzles, sweet treats, watching wildlife from the sunroom and tending her flower beds. Shirley is preceded in death by son, Chuck M. Rickards and mother, Ruth Dial. She is survived by her husband, Charles Branscome; son John (Denise Nott) Rickards; daughter, Deanna (Timothy) Clevenger; daughter-in-law, Tara Rickards; stepdaughters, Tanya (Mark) Scott; Amy (John) Penrose;-sister, Brenda (Louis) Harper; grandchildren, Brandee, Logann, Brock, Chad (Brittany), Charles, Carrie (Brian), Sandra, Dairic (Adena), Ashleigh (Ben), Jerod; great-grandchildren, Spencer, Sophia, Zoey, Violet, Parker, Mia, Emmet, Jesaiah and Jade.
Family will receive friends Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., Columbus, OH. 43207 where service will be held Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11:00 am with Pastor Jeremy Kamer officiating. Interment to follow at Field of Honor Cemetery, Canal Winchester.
