Shirley P. Atchison, age 72, of Columbus, November 14, 2008 at her home surrounded by family. Member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW #2505 and American Legion #144. Preceded in death by husband, Bennie E. Atchison; parents, Albert and Wilma Chastain; brothers, Jerry Chastain and Norman Chastian; sister, Mary Lois Whalin; Survived by daughters, Lynn (Joe) Fasone and Melinda Atchison of Columbus; granddaughter, Mandy (Matt) Minshall; sisters, Sharon Warren and Carmelita (Donald) Varvel; sister-in-law, Janice Chastain; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Monday 10 a.m., Rev. Dr. William L. Snider officiating.
