Sadie "Bernice" Boyd, age 67, of Columbus, passed away February 26, 2014 at home. Member of Parsons Avenue Church of God. Preceded in death by daughter, Cathy Renee Lovelace; siblings, William and Roger Lee Spence and Christine Strathers. Survived by husband, Robert Boyd; daughters, Debra Lynn Gomez and Joy McKenna; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ernie, Russell, and Charles Spence; many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday February 28, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Parsons Avenue Church of God, 3389 Parsons Avenue, Columbus OH 43207, where service will be held Saturday 11 a.m., Pastor Brice Utt officiating.
