Rodger Trieb

Rodger William Trieb, age 92, of Columbus, born October 21, 1921 in Donnellsville, Ohio, passed away August 15, 2014 at Grant Medical Center. Rodger worked at H.R. Isaly Cheese and retired from Dick Fish and Food. Graduate of Central High School, January Class of 1942. Member of Washington Avenue United Methodist Church for 68 years. Rodger loved to draw and play dartball for over 50 years. He is preceded in death by parents, Harry and Ruth Trieb; brothers, Elwood and Lowell; sisters, Florence, Evelyn, and Helen. Rodger is survived by his wife of 69 years, Evelyn; several nieces and nephews, as well as great and great great nieces and nephews, some of which live in Australia. Family will receive friends Sunday August 17, 2014 from 1-4 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Monday at 1 p.m., Rev. Dr. William L. Snider officiating. Interment to follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Washington Avenue United Methodist Church, 359 E. Markison Ave., Columbus OH 43207.
