Robert Witte

Robert "Bob" M. Witte, age 86, of Columbus, passed away December 7, 2016. Retired Master Sergeant with U.S. Air Force after 20 years as aircraft mechanic having served in Korean War and Vietnam. Member of Madison Christian Church, and VFW Post No,. 3424. Retired from U.S. Postal Service.

Preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Clara Witte; siblings, Raymond Witte, Calvin Witte, and Verla Thomas. Survived by wife of 62 years, Valarae Witte; daughters, Debbie Jo (Robin) Beer and Gina (Lemuel "Ernie") Small; grandchildren, Justin Small, Brian Small; 2 step-grandchildren, Jonathan Beer and Rhonda Litchfield; sisters, Marlys (Stanley) Adolphson and Laverne Magnuson; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Family will receive friends, Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 2-6 p.m. at Madison Christian Church, 3565 Bixby Rd., Groveport, OH 43125, where service will be held Monday. December 12, 2016 at 10 a.m, Pastor Paul Barnes officiating. Interment with Military Honors to follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Arrangements under the care of GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S.
