Richard Holmes, age 69, of Columbus, passed away March 4, 2017 after a long illness. He was formerly with Owens-Illinois, a proud military veteran and avid fisherman. Preceded in death by parents, Fredrick and Isabelle Holmes and brother, Gary Holmes. Survived by sister-in-law, Patricia Holmes, cousins, and many friends. Family will receive friends,Thursday March 9, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street. Private interment will be held at a later date.
