Reverend Iddings

Reverend Robert S. Iddings, age 69, of Columbus, entered eternal rest peacefully with Christ on November 18, 2016 at his home surrounded by family. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather adored his family, and was a friend to many. An ordained elder since 1985, he faithfully served Christ and his churches in the East Ohio UMC and West Ohio UMC conferences for thirty-one years.

Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Glorice Iddings. Survived by wife, Reverend Patricia Iddings; daughter, Jodi (Adnan) Alkhatib; son, Jonathan (Michelle) Iddings; grandchildren, Omar, Jenan, Abdul, Layan, and Olivia; sister, Elizabeth Bristow (Lynn), nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Family will receive friends Monday Nov. 21, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street, Columbus Ohio, 43207. Service Tuesday Nov. 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. (visitation one hour prior to service) at Livingston United Methodist Church, 200 E Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43215. Rev Jim Donnan will be officiating. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.

Much gratitude is given to all of those who helped and supported him through their help, prayers, love and kindness during his recent years of illness.
