Oliver Kirk

Oliver C. Kirk, age 73, of Columbus, died January 23, 2008, at his home. Retired Corrections Officer from the State Penitentiary. Was a big OSU Buckeyes fan. Preceded in death by wife Wilma Kirk, parents Lawrence and Ruby Kirk, siblings Lawrence, Garnet, Basil, Bill, Betty, Irene and Nuala. Survived by children, Teresa Thompson of Tenn., Greg Kirk, Nancy Scarberry, Barbara Jones, David Kirk and Steven Kirk, all of Columbus; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby Ditty; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday 5-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Saturday 10 a.m. Rev. Steve Snider officiating. Interment Obetz Cemetery.
