Michael T. Crabtree

Michael T. Crabtree, age 73, of Obetz, Ohio, passed away on May 23, 2025, with his children at his side along with his special friends, Billy and Cory who were his neighbors.

Born on September 4, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio, he was a proud alumnus of Hamilton Township High School, where he shone as a star athlete, in all sports. Michael continued to play football beyond his high school years where he made many lifelong friendships. He worked at Sygma, where his dedication and strong work ethic were evident to all who had the pleasure of working alongside him.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Geneva Crabtree, and his sister, Janet Chaky. He is survived by his loving children, Chad (Gina) Crabtree and Sara (Eric) Renko and their mother, Merrilee Pyle; his grandchildren, Molly, Addie, Bruce, and Sofia who held a special place in his heart. He is also survived by his brother, Kenny (Diane); Crabtree; brother in-law, Bill Chaky; nieces, Allison, Bethany, Kelsey, Chelsea, and Jessica.

Michael will be remembered for his unwavering spirit, laughter, and the profound impact he had on the lives of those who knew him. His legacy will continue to thrive in the hearts of his family and friends, who will carry forward the memories created. A private graveside service will held at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
