Maxine Gerlach

Maxine Gerlach, age 87, of Columbus, passed away at her home on May 9, 2014 after a lengthy battle with breast cancer. Retired from the State of Ohio after many years of service. Maxine is preceded in death by her husband, Carl H. Gerlach. She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie (Jim) Hoffman of Worthington and Carolyn K. Gerlach of Columbus; son, Gary L. Gerlach of Columbus; 3 granddaughters, Tiffany (Ed) Baumgartner of Upper Arlington, Allison (Brandon) Parmer of Powell, and Jessica Gerlach of Columbus; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Rossiter, Norma Jean Rittinger, Evelyn Hastings, and Virginia Marshall; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Family will receive visitors Monday, May 12, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Tuesday 10:30 a.m., Pastor Larry Kudart officiating.
