Maurice W. Higgins, age 83, of Columbus, died May 12, 2010 at Scioto Community Assistant Living. U.S. Navy Veteran WWII. Preceded in death by wife Lois; son David; mother Stella; brother Donald Higgins. Survived by children Janet Higgins, George Higgins, Brenda (Gary) Whitt, Linda (Rick) Vogt, and Ty (Nancy) Higgins; daughter-in-law Ileen Higgins; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother James Higgins and other relatives. Visitation Sunday 1-4 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Monday 10 a.m., Rev. Dr. William L. Snider officiating.
