Margaret Inman

Margaret (Payne) Inman, age 96, passed away peacefully on August 5th, 2025. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob, her parents Hazel and Vernon Payne, her two brothers Wesley, Melvin, and sister Phyllis. Margaret is survived by her much loved children, Aleta (Ron, deceased) Shillingburg, Gayla (Tim) Lynn and Rob (Kim) Inman; her special grandchildren Dena (Scott) Todd, Alex (Jessica) Lynn, Matt (Samantha) Inman, and Patrick (Allegra) Inman; great grandchildren Skylar and Preston Todd, soon to be great grand twin Inman daughters ; sister in law Mary Lou Payne and many special nieces , nephews, and friends. Margaret was a long-time member of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ. She graduated from South High School in Columbus, Ohio in 1947. She worked as a secretary for several corporations, was a long-distance telephone operator; Her last job was that of administrative secretary for Samuel Ingwersen, Architects. She enjoyed playing cards, fishing, big band music and the Outer Banks. Private family funeral service and burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
