Loretta Sturgill

Loretta M. Sturgill, age 95, of Columbus, passed away December 7, 2014. Longtime member of Washington Avenue United Methodist Church. Retired in 1977 as a secretary with Columbus City Schools. Graduate of South High School, Class of 1937. After corresponding during the war, Loretta married Earl V. Sturgill, a veteran of the Pacific Theatre, on September 4, 1946. Preceded in death by husband, Earl V. Sturgill; brother, Charles May. Survived by 2 sons, Gary (Sandra) Sturgill of Lavon,TX., and Gregory (Martha) Sturgill of Alexandria, OH; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer (Steve) Armon, Jon (Carrie) Sturgill, and Aaron (Kylie) Sturgill; 3 great-grandchildren, Katharina Leighton, BrocCairn Leighton, and Liam Armon. Family will receive friends Wednesday Dec. 10, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., and Thursday beginning at 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m., Rev.
