Leah Ann Niswonger (née Sell), aged 73, passed away on June 22, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio. Born on March 4, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio, she spent her entire life in the city she loved. She is remembered for her boundless love for her grandchildren, generosity to her family, and leaving behind a legacy of her kindness.
Leah is survived by her husband David (Dave) Niswonger; they would have celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in November. Leah is also survived by her mother Edith Snyder, her beloved sister Jan Sell & children Ray (Cherie) and Steve (Heather). Leah was incredibly proud of the men her boys grew up to be and she felt especially blessed to have two grandchildren (Kayla & Zach), who she treasured. Leah was very close to her siblings and enjoyed all the holidays the family spent together, which always included her famous "mac and cheese" - Mike (Carolyn), Blair (Judy) and Jan, along with her nieces & their families. Leah also had an "in law" family that welcomed and loved her & who she loved.
Boating (with good friend Lynn Gardner), river life and camping were a huge part of Leah and her family's life and these adventures brought years of joy. One of Leah's loves was also her companion and loyal dog Molly.
