Larry Hawthorne

Larry G. Hawthorne, Sr., age 65, passed away Thursday July 4, 2013 peacefully at home. Larry was a U.S Army Vietnam Veteran. He was a strong willed but loving man who would do anything to help family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Thelma and Carl Hawthorne; brothers, Buddy, Glen, and George; sisters, Adeline, Margaret, Sandy; sister-in-law, Marlena Hawthorne. Survived by loving wife of 44 years, Brenda; brother, Junior Hawthorne; sister Mary Bender; daughters, Cindy (Charlie), Donna; son, Larry Jr. (Amy); grandchildren, Jessica (Earl)., Spc. Amber, Aaron, Jordan, Morgan and Brooke; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Kamani, Mya; many nieces, nephews; cousins, and friends. Visitation Sunday July 7, 2013 from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Monday 10 a.m., Pastor Sara Davis officiating.
