Jack Kirby

Jack Richard Kirby, 81, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Hazel Kirby, sisters, Donna and Patricia. Survived by loving wife, Berta; son, Michael (Sharon) Kirby; granddaughter, Gina Kirby; niece, Tamara (Jeff) Wagner; nephew, Timothy Tribbett. A 1948 graduate of South High School. Jack was a Navy veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict and also a member of the Masonic New England Lodge #4 in Worthington, 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason Valley of Columbus. He worked in the transportation department for the Columbus City Schools for 28 years. Visitation Monday, July 16, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM (Masonic service at 7:30 PM) at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will take place Tuesday at 10 AM. Pastor Tim Risch officiating. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
