Isolde Carpenter

Isolde M. Rein Carpenter, age 83, of Columbus, passed away January 15, 2017. Born in Poland on June 19, 1933 to the late Wilhelm and Eugenie Buettner. Member of The Columbus Damenchor at the Maennerchor and the Damenchor at the Germania Club.

Preceded in death by husbands, Helmut Rein and Jack Carpenter; brothers, Waldemar Buettner and Harry Buettner.

Survived by son, Johannes "John" (Karen) Rein; 4 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Renate (Joe) Sabistina, Siegfried (Roseann) Buettner, Johanna (Gary) Winner, Hilde (Gary) Smith, and Susanne Buettner; sisters-in-law, Carol Buettner and Linda Buettner; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 3-7 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 10 a.m., Pastor Floyd L.
