Henry Schrader

Henry O. Schrader, age 93, of Groveport, passed away July 9, 2017 at Mt. Carmel West Medical Center. He was born January 31, 1924 to Edward and Marilla Schrader. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Mary Schrader, Mabel Vandewater, Lucille Ell, and Betty Hutchinson; brothers Cecil and Robert Schrader. Henry graduated from South High School. WW II Army Veteran. Member of South Gate - Potter Lodge No. 782 F&AM, Scottish Rite 32 degree. Long time member of Gates Fourth United Methodist Church. Employed by American Standard and retired from Wasserstrom. Survived by loving wife of 70 years Elma; sons, Philip (Debby) Schrader, Daniel (Janet) Schrader, and Brian (Triva) Schrader; grandchildren, Matt, Mark, and Mike Schrader, Stephanie (Alex) Alonzo, Leslie Hughes, Ken Bullock, Erin Doss, Brian and Eric Gould; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Marilyn "Jean" Schrader, Jean Schrader, and, Jeannene (Jerry) Muse; numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 4 - 7:30 p..m. (Masonic service 7:30 p.m.) at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St. where service will be held Thursday 10 a.m., Pastor Grayson Atha officiating. Interment to follow with military honors at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
