Harry K. Darst, Sr., age 97, of Columbus, formerly of Buckeye Lake, OH died May 24, 2012. U.S. Army Veteran WWII served as an occupation troop in Japan. Member of Hebron United Methodist Church and a longtime member of South United Methodist Church. Retired from Columbia Gas after 32 years. Preceded in death by wife, Josephine Darst; brothers: Alvoy, Seemer, Clyde, Vernal, Robert, Richard, and Emery Darst and sisters: Ethel, Nancy, Ersal, Amelia, and Emma. Survived by children, Beverly (Carl) Wishon of TX., Harry K. Darst Jr., of CA., Terry (Judy) Darst of Columbus, and Malia Lowry of ME. Ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Wednesday 10 a.m., Pastor Cy Broughton officiating.
