George Kirk

George Kirk, age 75, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He loved motorcycles, trucks, trains, and racing. He loved his Ohio State Buckeyes and his Cleveland Browns. George was a proud U.S. Army veteran, whose service to his country was a significant part of his life.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Basil and Lenora Kirk, his wife whom he adored, Nella Kirk, and his sister and brother-in-law, Evalena “ Irene “ and Johnny Hill.

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Michael) Weihrauch , and son, Joshua Kirk; along with his four grandchildren, Ireland, Presley, Hazel and Anthony, who brought him immense joy. George is also survived by his brother, Ken Kirk, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives who loved him dearly.

Family will receive friends on Friday, September 5, 2025, starting at 4:30 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 6:30 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, located at 1351 South High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43207, Father John Shump officiating followed by Military honors that will be rendered by the U.S. Army, honoring George's dedicated service.
