George M. Hoyt, age 79, of Groveport, died August 7, 2010 at home surrounded by his family. Preceded in death by son Ronnie L. Hoyt; parents Guy and Georgia Hoyt; siblings, Frances Hoyt, Guy L. Jr. Hoyt, Bill Hoyt, Agnes Hamler, and Margaret Filbin. Survived by wife of 61years of marriage, Lurien Hoyt; children George M. (Cathy) Hoyt of Cambridge, Gary L. (Lisa) Hoyt, Deborah A. Slonaker, Connie F. (Tim) Kuehne, Christine (Mike) Flowers all of Columbus; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Lesa Hoyt; sister Maxine Opphile; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
