Dorothy Craggs

Dorothy L. Craggs, age 96, passed away September 20, 2017 at Tuscany Gardens in Pataskala. Member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in German Village for 74 years. Graduate of Columbus South High School, Class of 1939. Dorothy loved to clog with 4U Cloggers at McDowell Senior Center; Retired from Columbus City Schools and Friendship Village of Columbus. Preceded in death by husband, John Craggs; son, John R. Craggs; grandchildren, Bryan Lozier, Tracy Mankins, and Danny Lee Seymour; siblings, Samuel Humes and Helen Scheiderer. Survived by children, Dorothy (Lee) Gordon of Marysville, Barbara (Bob) Stump of Columbus, Deborah (Pat) Laughlin of Pataskala, and Sandra (Dan) Seymour of Chillicothe; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews who she loved as her children, and they loved her as their mother. Dorothy was a kind soul which made everyone love her even more.

Family will receive friends Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Monday September 25, 2017 at 10:30 a.m., Pastor Snowden Sims officiating. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
