Byron V. "Barney" Miller passed away at Westminster Thurber Community on May 6, 2015. He was born June 19, 1928, was a graduate of South High School in 1946. Survived by wife of 66 years, Sarah Hancock Miller and 6 children, Robert (Miriam), Barry, Christina, Bonnie (Kevin) O'Grady, Neil (Teri) and Jeffrey (Cheryl); grandchildren, Matthew, Benjamin (Melissa), Katie (Nate) Smith, Molly (Brandon) Herbert, Shelby (Uriah) Landoll, Meghan O'Grady, Colin O'Grady (Fiance, Eliza Bauler), Ashley Miller and Brandon Miller; great-grandchildren, Noa, Nyungnee, Felecia, Jonah, Judah Miller, Micah, Eliza Smith, and Benjamin Herbert. He was preceded in death by mother, Jessie Johnson and grandson, Nicholas Miller. Barney was retired from Franklin International and was a longtime scorekeeper for Columbus Parks and Recreation. Barney was inducted into the Columbus Slo-Pitch Softball Hall of Fame in 2001 and was an avid NY Yankee's fan. Member of Livingston United Methodist Church since his childhood.

Family will receive friends Friday, May 8, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street. Private family service with burial to follow on Saturday at Green Lawn Cemetery.
