Betty J. Gardner Weethee, age 94, of Grove City, passed away February 10, 2022. Member of Capital City Church. Betty loved the Lord and served Him faithfully for many years. She prayed every day that her family would accept Christ and meet her in heaven. Retired from State of Ohio Bureau Workmans Comp. Worked for General Motors and was also a beautician. Betty loved doing word searches and playing chicken foot. She was an excellent cook and baker, and adored her beloved dog, Maggie Mae. She is preceded in death by parents, Lonnie and Edna Lambert; first husband, Everett Dean; second husband, Pearl Gardner; infant son, Everett Lonnie; infant daughter, Julia Ann; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Kathleen Lambert. Survived by husband, Bill Weethee; daughter, Judi (Artist) Dean Everman; son, Gregory Dean; grandchildren, Shawn M. (Roxi) Dean, Greg C.E. (Janee) Dean, and Anthony Dean; stepchildren, Pamela Gardner Richards, Pastor Michael Gardner, Bill (Valli) Weethee, Karen (Tom) Badlam, Sondra (Craig) Harris, Terri (Tim) Bourne, and Diane Mosher; many nieces, nephews, step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren; brother, Doran (Lorraine) Lambert; special friend, Doris Patete.
Family will receive friends, Wednesday, February 16, 2022, beginning at 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 noon at Capital City Church, 464 Rathmell Road, Lockbourne, Ohio 43137, with Pastor Michael Gardner officiating. Graveside service Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W. Broad St., Galloway, Ohio 43119. Arrangements with GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., Columbus, Ohio. Flowers should be delivered to the church.
