Francis Engle, 86, of Buckeye Lake, passed away August 16, 2026, Longtime member of "Old" Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, member of Knights of Columbus, Reynoldsburg Lions Club, and IBEW Local 683.

Francis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is preceded in death by wife of 59 years, Judith "Judy" Engle; parents, Floyd and Mary Engle, brother and sister-in-law, David and Carleen Engle; granddaughter, Bobbie Jo Greer.

Survived by children, Susan (David) Eder, Cheryl (Mark) Swickard, Steven (Lynette) Engle, and Kimberly (Robert) Greer; grandchildren, David (Danielle) Eder, Jennifer (Codey) Piper, Butch (Jessica) Swickard, Bryan (Brandy) Swickard, Sara (Victor) Strawser, Ashley (Kyle) Hayes, Kaitlyn Engle, Olivia Ellis, Melissa (Brad Orr) Greer, and Aimee (Cameron) Carson;  great-grandchildren, Emma, Madelyn, Molly, Dominic, Xander, Alleigh, Abbigail, Luke, Ryleigh, Mason, Vincent, Bennett, Maverick, Tanner, Kannon, Grady, Isla, Remi, Finn, and Emmy Jo; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy (Fred) Gischel, Rose (Al) Sauer, Ruth (Ed) Filbin, and Cindy (John) Kinch; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. atGRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 South High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43207. Funeral service Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 11 a.m. (visitation beginning at 10 a.m.) at Old Trinty Lutheran Church, 404 S. 3rd Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215, with Pastor Eli Seitz officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio.
