Charles Scurlock

Charles Edward Scurlock, age 85, of Columbus, passed away December 17, 2018. Born January 19, 1933 to Orland and Kathryn Scurlock. Preceded death in by his parents; wives, Hazel Reedy Scurlock and Kyra Dunford Scurlock. He is survived by daughters, Becky (Curt) Hughes, Robin (Roger) Strayer; sons, Charles R. Scurlock and Wendell Scurlock; brother, Richard Scurlock; sisters, Joan Price, Louella Jones, and Mary Scurlock; step-brother Ralph Egbert; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; Numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Graduated in 1949 from Jackson High School. Served honorably in the U.S. Army. Charles was a mechanic his whole work career and enjoyed watching John Wayne and cowboy movies.

Family will receive friends Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 4- 7 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 at 10 a.m., Rev.
